Baumann appointed to Atlantic Legal Foundation Advisory Board

The Atlantic Legal Foundation President and President Hayward D. Fisk appointed Greg Baumann to the Foundation’s Advisory Board.

Baumann is the Vice President of Global Regulatory and Technical Services for Nisus American chemical manufacturer headquartered in Rockford, Tenn.

Baumann has more than four decades of experience in federal and state regulation of pesticides and other chemicals. He serves on the executive committee of the American Chemistry Council Center for Biocide Chemistries and is also chair of the Antimicrobial Exposure Assessment Task Force, a coalition of manufacturer companies, which generates toxicology studies to meet data requirements required by US and Canadian regulatory agencies.

Baumann is also a pest control professional (PMP) columnist and a PPM Hall of Fame (class of 2013).

According to a press release, Baumann “is a determined supporter of sound science and is a monthly columnist for an industry trade journal. He has also served as an advisor to the United Nations World Health Organization on the public health implications of urban pests.

The mission of the Atlantic Legal Foundation is:

  • Promote sound science in legal and regulatory proceedings,
  • Advocate for effective education, including the right of parents to choose the schools and types of education best suited to the education of their children, and
  • Advocate for free enterprise, limited and responsible government, property rights, individual liberty, civil justice and the rule of law under the Constitution.
