ABU DHABI, Aug 30, 2021 (WAM) – The Abu Dhabi Waste Management Center (Tadweer) has signed new operational contracts to provide pest control services in the northern region of Al Ain city.

The center awarded contracts worth AED 148,224 million, including an AED 74.655 million contract to Alphamed Abu Dhabi to provide pest control services in the sixth sector, and a contract worth AED 73.569 million. ‘AED to Al Nisr Environmental Services and Pest Control to provide seventh sector control services.

Covering 74 zones in two sectors, the new contracts concern 574 employees and a fleet of 168 vehicles and 902 pieces of equipment. Its scope includes inspection, monitoring and control measures as well as insect investigations, monthly reports and meetings, fines, key performance indicators, field inspections and vehicle tracking systems. and database management.

The contracted companies will follow monthly implementation plans and scheduled programs to provide pest control services in Al Ain city. In order to ensure effective control measures, they will intensify their operations during the pest growing seasons and offer a variety of services throughout the year.

The contracted companies will provide pest control services in various areas and facilities in Al Ain city, including roads, streets, alleys between villas, government departments, schools, government hospitals and clinics, mosques, public gardens and parks, government slaughterhouses and public markets. .

The services also target sewage tanks, public sewage system, drainage systems, Emirati villa construction sites, garbage cans and collection points in all residential, commercial and industrial areas, sites archaeological and museums, public toilets, tunnels and bridges.

Tadweer also offers its pest control services to farms, public animal shelters, pet houses, police dog kennels, ponds, swamps and water bodies.
