Liphatech recruits a new Sales Director for Latin America

Liphatech has announced Daniel De Poli as its new Commercial Director for Latin America.

De Poli will be responsible for expanding sales and marketing of Liphatech’s full line of rodenticides and bait stations in the Caribbean, Central and South America.

“I look forward to strengthening and growing Liphatech’s business relationships with our channel partners throughout my new territory,” De Poli said in a press release.
Prior to joining Liphatech, De Poli worked for BWI Companies Inc. where he was Commercial Manager for Export and Florida State. Prior to that, he worked at Univar Solutions for four years as Director of Export Services for Latin America. He has worked in the pest control industry for over 20 years and will now work to bring Liphatech’s rodent control practices and products to this developing region.

De Poli is also a former athlete who played rugby in Argentina.

About Liphatech

With its US headquarters based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Liphatech is a global manufacturer of pest control products. It is considered the developer of three active ingredients in the industry: chlorophacinone, bromadiolone and difethialone. The company was founded in France in 1946 to develop blood thinners for the treatment of heart patients. She developed chlorophacinone in the 1960s and named it Rozol, a family of products that includes grain and granular products for field and structural use, and a tracking powder for use in and around structures. In the 1970s, Liphatech developed bromadiolone, its original second-generation rodenticidal active ingredient.

Innovations continued with the opening of its U.S. plant in 1987. Research there and in Europe led to the discovery of difethialone in the late 1980s, with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency registration as an active ingredient in 1995. Its most recent innovation is the development of soft bait rodenticides.
